Q. WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH PHOTOGRAPHY?  

I was raised in a family of artists, including a photographer and makeup artist. I was involved in and assisting at photo shoots from an early age and that’s where my passion began. I loved being a part of photo shoots! At first, my interest was in makeup artistry but after several years as a professional makeup artist, I decided to buy my first camera and learn more about photography. I photographed many different things but couples quickly became my passion. A year later, I photographed my first wedding and the rest was history. I have been photographing weddings professionally and full time since 2015.

Q. DO YOU SHOOT WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

Yes, my assistant is already included in all my wedding packages! While I’m completely comfortable photographing a wedding on my own, it is always better to have an additional photographer present to ensure that things go smoothly. My assistant is not included in package 01 which is for elopements and intimate weddings only.

Q. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Myself and my second shooter use all of the latest Canon equipment. I shoot with the Mark IV and 1DX and prime L series lenses.

Q. WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOGRAPHS AFTER THE WEDDING?

Yes, my contract includes a print release!

WHAT IF YOU GET SICK AND CAN’T SHOOT MY WEDDING?

I have never missed a wedding so far and I hope that I never do! However, if unforeseen circumstances were to prevent me from photographing your wedding, I am fortunate to have a community of photography friends in the DFW area as well as assistant photographer that has worked exclusively with me for over a year now. They would be my back up plan in the unlikely event I couldn’t make it. They are all capable of shooting like me! As creatives, we are able to re-create other artists moods and styles. They would have my back and yours if anything were to happen. You’re covered! And if they were to shoot your wedding I would still edit your photos so that you still get my style of editing!

Q. WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?

Absolutely! I love destination weddings! Send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.

Q. ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

Yes, besides the state sales tax of 8.25% applied to your collection at booking there is also an online transaction fee that is paid out to my contract and payment website host. To avoid online transaction fees of 3%, I also accept check, cash, Chase Quick Pay, and Venmo payments. Please contact me for a custom travel quote for all destinations 40 miles outside of Fort Worth, TX.

Q. CAN WE MEET BEFORE BOOKING?

 Of course! While I do have a busy schedule between weddings, engagements, bridals, editing, and being a mother, I try my best to be available to those who would prefer to meet in person. A lot of my out of town or super busy couples talk with me over phone calls and text messages so by the time we meet for engagements we both feel we know each other a little better. I try my hardest to be available for everyone, but please feel free to call me over lunch or after dinner if your schedule is crazy like mine! It’s common to feel like there aren’t enough hours in a day so I am happy to do what is easiest for you!

Q. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

Weddings average 6-8 weeks to be delivered. Sessions average 4-5 weeks to be delivered. Delivery times will always vary depending on slower and busier times of the year.
